A short drive away are the delightful country historic houses of Chatsworth House and Gardens and Haddon Hall; don t forget to stop at the farm shop and stock up on local goodies. Buxton (10.5 miles) is a famous spa town and home of the Buxton Opera House which hosts many cultural events throughout the year. The cottage is accessed via steep steps leading down from the road. Step into the hall and find ample space to store coats and boots. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal including an electric Range oven and hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Relax in the lounge on the comfy sofas, light the wood burner and pop something on the TV to unwind. The dining table provides a lovely view to enjoy during a meal with good company.
