Other attractions and places of interest close by include The Donkey Sanctuary which offers free entry and an impressive cafe, walks around the Seaton Wetlands, Lyme Regis which is renowned for its bustling harbour, delightful beaches and shops, and the picture postcard village of Beer, with its shingle beach and fresh seafood. The small sun trap garden is accessed via stepping over a narrow pathway to the rear of the cottage and then up a small flight of steps. This magical space has been carefully designed and is completely organic. Here you will find a bench and can enjoy sitting and watching the buzzards that soar during the day; and the absence of light pollution means that after dark you can enjoy the stars and spotting the resident bats as they take flight.
