Saunton Sands beach is very popular for surfers and families, and it offers beach huts to hire. Other local beaches such as Croyde well known to be the surfing mecca and Woolacombe which is known to be one of the best beaches in the world. Braunton offers an array of shops restaurants, pubs, and takeaways. Walking enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice with the nearby Southwest Coast Path and Exmoor National Park, not to mention a plethora of National Trust land and the well known Tarka trail.
