The historic market town of Colchester and the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds are just a short drive away, as is the historic buildings, Kentwell Hall and the National Trust Melford Hall. A little further afield is Thetford Forest where thrill seekers will find high wire experiences along with stunning walking and cycling tracks, along with Newmarket racecourse which is a good day out. As you enter this property you arrive in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner where before proceeding you can kick off those walking boots and make yourself feel at home. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast, a light lunch or a hearty dinner with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Once you have prepared some food then head over to the dining table which can seat up to six guests and is the perfect place for you to gather with loved ones and discuss the adventures head. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed along with its own bathroom with shower over bath and WC and the other is a twin zip and link room which can be made up to a king size on request, and here you also have use of your own ensuite bathroom with shower over bath and WC so perfect to relax those tired legs in after a day out exploring the Stour Valley. The spacious rear enclosed garden area is accessed through the French doors in the lounge and here you have a lawned area and a patio area with a table and chairs for you to enjoy some al fresco style dining or a drink or two whilst you soak up some sun.
