The bustling market town of Keswick (5 miles) can be reached by road or by a cruise across Derwentwater, and is home to plenty of pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions including the Puzzling Place, Derwent Pencil Museum and the Theatre by the Lake. Stepping into this delightful property, the entrance hall has useful space for you to leave coats and muddy boots before heading into the spacious lounge/diner. Featuring plenty of period furniture, comfortable seating and an electric fire set in a stone fireplace, the lounge is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a great day out. This room also has a TV and DVD, an extensive library of the owner s books and a charming writing desk beneath the picture window which looks out towards Grange Fell. The dining area is also by a window and makes a lovely spot for enjoying your favourite meals. Heading into the kitchen, you will find it equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and a small fridge/freezer. Exploring the cottage further, the light, fresh and airy bedroom features twin beds, and there s a handy shower room complete with a shower and WC. Stepping outside, the garden is shared with the owner s property and offers fantastic views. Parking is available for two cars by the cottage over a cattle grid.
