Pay phone available at the cottage for incoming/outgoing calls. 2 dogs welcome. Pub and shop within half a mile; dog friendly beach 7.5 miles.

Stone steps lead up from the sloping lawn to a raised terrace with garden furniture perfect for al fresco dining. Relax and listen to birdsong from the neighbouring woods, or enjoy the views over the Eskdale Valley you can even spot heritage steam trains in the distance. Off road parking is available on the driveway for two cars (not suitable for low cars); additional parking is available in the village. The garden and driveway are enclosed by double five bar gates.
