Challenge your party to adrenaline fuelled activities such as rock climbing, ghyll scrambling and paddleboarding via the popular activity centre 6 miles away, or take a quiet stroll along the River Irt with a picnic. Change pace with a visit to Ravenglass 5 miles away to explore the estuary and natural harbour, or venture the 7 mile drive to Seascale to appreciate the sandy beaches and safe bathing spots.
