Ullswater is 3 miles away where there is some fantastic hill walking along the High Street ridge, or you can hire rowing boats, motorboats and canoes to explore the tiny islands on the Lake.

Electric cooker with double oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. Wood burner (logs provided). TV, DVD player. Wi Fi included. Towels not provided. Partially enclosed garden with lawned garden and raised deck area. Please note that although the garden is mostly flat, it slopes away steeply on one corner. Regret no pets. Located in Europe s largest grass covered building, Rhegad is 5 miles away and has independent shops, cafés, an exhibition centre and a large 3D cinema. The local pub is 1 mile away and renowned for its excellent food and delightful atmosphere. All on one level and furnished to a high standard with all modern conveniences, this pine lodge is light, spacious and characterful with plenty of stylish interior delights. Enter into the lobby where you can discard your muddy boots and damp coats before heading into the open plan living space. The hub of the house, there is ample space to gather everyone together after a busy day out. Large windows provide superb views across the countryside to the Pennines and Eden Valley. The large L shaped sofa is ideal for resting walk weary legs and watching a film, reading a book or playing a board game, with the room taking on a cosy atmosphere once the wood burner is lit. Gather to dine at the table set to the large bay window with a window seat, enjoying lovely garden views with your meals.
