It s impossible to appreciate the local area without a day trip on its hidden gem, the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. Known locally as La al Ratty, this 7 mile railway line begins right here in the fishing village and takes its passengers up into the Eskdale Valley, passing mountains and stunning landscapes as it goes. On arrival discover a cheerful terrace property on a quiet coastal street. Head inside to find two bedrooms on the first floor, both of which boast traditional slate flooring. The first of these is a spacious double with space for two, whilst the second room offers zip and link twin beds that can be made up as a king size on request. Here you ll also find French doors out to the rear patio and sea views that are a joy to wake up to. Completing this floor is a modern bathroom with WC and wet room style shower.
