3 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 twin and 1 bunk room with adult sized bunks. 1 bathroom with bath and wc. Outer kitchen has freestanding two ring electric hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Main kitchen has a Rayburn cooker (please note that the Rayburn is the only cooker in the property). Utility room with washing machine, ironing board, WC and washbasin. Wood burner (logs not provided). The Rayburn heats the hot water, there is a separate immersion heater if necessary. TV and DVD. Unenclosed, lawned garden with outdoor seating. Off road parking for up to three cars. Bridge House doesn't currently have an electric car charger, and guests are not permitted to charge their vehicles using the mains electric the nearest charger is at The Punch Bowl Inn. Space to store bikes in the utility room, and excellent cycle routes nearby. Private tested water supply. Pub 1.5 miles and restaurant 4 miles.

Kids will love visiting the aquarium at Newby Bridge (6 miles) and Beatrix Potter s home at Far Sawrey, 14 miles. Avid hikers will find plenty to challenge them in the wider area, with climbs at Coniston Old Man, the Langdale Pikes and even Scafell Pike. Chase the waves and spot wildlife at the coastal peninsulas and discover shopping arcades, historic buildings, and a variety of eateries in the market town of Kendal, 10 miles away.
