Situated in Thornthwaite, this property is in an ideal location to explore fells, woodlands and lakes. Neighbouring Braithwaite (1.5 miles) has a few pubs and a village shop. Enter the house through the practical utility room which has a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and plenty of storage space for boots and coats. There is also a handy downstairs cloakroom here, before heading through to the well equipped kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has an AGA oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Dolce Gusto machine. Take a seat at the dining table or breakfast bar and enjoy a meal together as a group, taking in the views of Skiddaw. There are two options for chilling out: a cosy snug just off the kitchen where you can watch the local birdlife, or, on the lower floor, a spacious living room complete with a wood burner and TV. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one king size, one double and one twin room. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a convenient shower room, and there is a separate family bathroom with a shower over the bath completing the first floor. To the front of the property is a lovely terraced space with patio furniture, great for al fresco dining and admiring the views around you. There is also lockable storage for bikes and parking for three cars. At the rear of the home are 2 acres of hillside garden which lead into a pretty woodland.
