3 bedrooms 1 super king size, 1 twin (all three beds can be made into a super king size or divide into twins on request) and 1 king size. 2 bathrooms 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. Double fan oven, ceramic hobs, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Washer/dryer and freezer. Wood burner. 2 TVs. Wi Fi included, due to the rural location the connect ion can be slow. It is suitable for emails and social media, but may not be adequate for streaming. Also the thickness of the 18th century internal walls mean that internet is only available downstairs.. Garden. Parking for upto 3 cars. Please note that there is no footpath from the cottage nor direct access to the lake. Two shared electric vehicle charging points available for no additional charge. Shared electric charging station. 1 dog welcome. Lockable storage for bikes and outdoor gear. Complex of properties. Can be booked alongside neighbouring cottages. Shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants 3 miles away.

Walkers will find a myriad of footpaths close by and those who are especially keen can even attempt 930 metre high Skiddaw. Visit Mirehouse and Gardens, with its beautiful grounds, less than 1 mile away, and on the way home stop at Dodd Wood to spot a pair of nesting ospreys. Spend time perusing the shops in Keswick, 3 miles away, and take a cruise out on Derwentwater while you are there. Step into the cottage and find yourself in a reception hall leading to a snug with a TV, with Freeview, which children will enjoy. Further on into the cottage, however, you can also gather in the beamed lounge to watch something together, play a game and perhaps light the wood burner on colder days.
