Windermere (11 miles) is the ideal place to spend a day, wandering the lake s shores and taking a boat trip. Sample mint cake in Kendal (14.5 miles), or head to Grasmere (19.5 miles) to taste their world famous gingerbread. Climb to the summit of Whitbarrow Fell (8 miles), known as the Lord s Seat, and take in the fantastic panoramic views. As you step into the property, you re welcomed by the gorgeous farmhouse style kitchen. Pastel colours in the cupboards and tiles fill it with character, and you ll find everything you need to cook up tasty food in here.
