Wander further into nearby Whinlatter Forest Park or drive 4 miles to reach it by car. Go mountain biking, attempt the high ropes and take part in other activities here. Venture 4 miles into Keswick to amble round its shops and dine out. Book a cruise out on Derwentwater from here or head to Portinscale, 3 miles from the cottage, to hire your own boat or to have a go at paddle boarding or canoeing. Gaze out at the spectacular views from this welcoming holiday home. Step inside to find homely accommodation that makes the most of its stunning position. Take in the sweeping vistas from the sunroom, with its picture windows and double sided wood burner, or make your way into the lounge/diner, where you can also bask in the heat of the stove and settle down in front of the TV with Freeview. The kitchen/diner is two steps up from the lounge and has everything you will need for your holiday feasts, including two electric ovens, an electric grill and five gas hobs, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer.
