The thriving town of Keswick (2.5 miles) has a great selection of pubs, restaurants, independent shops and cafes, as well as a range of attractions including Derwent Pencil Museum, Castlerigg Stone Circle, Puzzling Place and Theatre by the Lake. Other local attractions include the Lake District Wildlife Park (6 miles), Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum (6.5 miles) and the Lakes Distillery (6.5 miles). Entering the apartment, the light filled and impressive kitchen/diner occupies the house s conservatory and provides a sociable area to gather in. The chic kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The characterful and welcoming lounge leads from the kitchen which is an ideal space to unwind at the end of a wonderful day. Featuring two original sash windows, beautiful marble fireplace and a warming wood burner, as well as plenty of seating, a smart TV and a choice of books, this is a perfect spot to sit back and chat about the day, or watch a favourite film. Large windows from both the lounge and kitchen offer a fantastic view over the gardens and towards the fells.
