The neighbouring valley of Eskdale is 6.5 miles away where you can hop aboard the famous Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway, take a stroll along golden sands at Drigg Beach or visit the historic Muncaster Castle. And when you re feeling peckish, the valley offers a wealth of friendly pubs and eateries to enjoy the nearest pub is only 2.5 miles from the cottage if you fancy a night off from cooking. Open the wooden picket gate and head inside this charming, studio style accommodation with its sloping ceilings and Velux windows. The open plan layout, which is all on one level, features a living area with a TV and an inviting high quality L shaped sofa that can be converted into a double bed with mattress topper using the bedding provided. At the other end of the room is a galley kitchen area which is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and built in fridge/freezer, as well as a dining table and chairs for two. A door leads from this kitchen area to the bathroom which features a WC and shower over the bath where you can look forward to a soothing soak after a day in the great outdoors. Outside, the enclosed, fenced garden boasts a generous lawn and is a lovely spot to unwind and soak up the far reaching views of the surrounding fells.
