Surrounded by fells the cottage is also just 3 miles from Derwentwater where you can hire kayaks, paddleboards, sailing, and rowing boats. The local area offers fishing, rock climbing, and water sports; it is a paradise for the outdoor enthusiast. Alternatively, take in the views from one of the stately Derwentwater launches there are seven landing stages. Keswick has a lovely bustling atmosphere; enjoy the shops, take in a film, visit a museum or catch a play or concert at the wonderful Theatre By The Lake. Enter the property into the hallway; there is a pretty twin bedroom to your left, and across the hallway is the family bathroom offering a walk in shower and WC. As you head down the hall, you will find the bright and spacious country style open plan kitchen and dining room, with patio doors opening onto the private patio. The dining area offers seating for the whole family; it is a great sociable space to prepare dinner and make plans for your stay in the Lakes.
