Enjoy a swim in the open air pools at Shap or Asham (May to Sept) both under 15 miles. There are equestrian centres locally, why not take a hack in the beautiful countryside? Or if you enjoy a spot of golf there are local courses in Appleby and Penrith. Only 15 miles away you will find yourself in the Lake District enjoy a day in this stunning part of the world and take a trip on the Ullswater steamers. As you enter into the spacious hallway the lounge is to your right. With a beamed ceiling and pretty village views, it is a lovely space to relax and unwind. There is comfy seating, a TV/DVD, and an electric wood burner effect fire. The kitchen can be accessed from the lounge there is an attractive stable style door through to the country kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. There is a dining area that can seat the whole party and offers a great social space to catch up and discuss the events of the day. The kitchen has access back out into the hallway with a handy storage cupboard under the stairs. Head up the stairs to the first floor where you will find a double bedroom, a twin room and a pretty single bedroom. There is a bathroom on the first floor with a shower over the bath and WC. There is a private enclosed front garden with seating where you can sit and watch the world go by. There is also lockable storage for bikes or sports equipment.
