Stapleford Woods with excellent walking and cycling trails is 5 minutes by car and supermarkets and a public swimming pool are 10 minutes drive. Popular destinations such as Rufford Abbey, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Belton Park, and Thoresby Estate are no more than 30 minutes. Newark is renowned for its Castle, River Trent walks, and historic market square. Lincoln Castle and Cathedral are 20 miles away with independent shops dotted along the famous Steep Hill packed with character and charm. Other excellent attractions nearby include Nottingham with its famous castle, medieval Stamford, and Southwell with its cathedral and Georgian prebendary houses. Step into the cottage and wander through to the spacious kitchen/diner which offers everything you need including an electric oven and induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine as well as a dining table that overlooks the courtyard garden.
