There is a hairdryer in each bedroom. 2 travel cots. 2 highchairs. 3 dogs welcome please ensure dogs are clean and dry before entering the house, an outdoor tap is available for muddy paws and boots. The accommodation can also be reached via the traditional 100 year old lift. Free daily access to Minterne Gardens between 10am and 6pm. Freshly prepared food by a chef can be arranged with the owner, perfect for a dinner party. When Lord Digby is in residence, guests are welcome to have a complimentary tour of the house and learn about the history. Shared access to a lawn tennis court (rackets and balls supplied). Shared outdoor heated pool (please bring pool towels), with changing room, from April until the end of October, between 10am 12noon and 4pm 6pm daily. Each property will have a designated 2 hour slot each day (varying times) for the pool, with sole use of the pool times will be displayed in the apartment on arrival. The nearby village of Cerne Abbas (2.5 miles) has local amenities as well as a famous giant carved into the hillside. Within 10 miles is the county town of Dorchester, which has a traditional high street, cinemas and museums, and pretty Sherborne where there are two castles, a striking abbey and many boutique shops and eateries. Set within a wing of the impressive Minterne House, a shared entrance hallway gives access to the stairs which lead to the private door of this first floor apartment. Once inside, you are met with a second staircase that rises to a spacious hallway, with all the rooms leading from it. There is a spacious kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, plus space to dine. The sitting room offers relaxed seating beside the open fire, a Smart TV and DVD with a selection of films, as well as a record player and Amazon Alexa to dance along to. There are four bedrooms to choose from, three of which are super king size zip and links (which can be that can be arranged as 2 6 twin beds on request), and the fourth is a twin zip and link (which can be arranged as a super king size on request).
