Historic Llangollen is 24 miles with its castle ruins and railway. Betws y Coed, known as the gateway to Snowdonia National Park, is 17 miles away. Walk or cycle along the canal, climb Snowdonia s mountains, go fishing or canoeing on the river, sail on the lake, ride on the steam trains and enjoy many sporting and cultural events nearby. There are plenty of National Trust s properties including Chirk Castle which is 30 miles as well as plenty of other attractions. This detached house is full of interesting features and thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay. Enter through the door into the hall to hang up your outdoor attire. Walk through to the creatively designed kitchen with plenty of space to rustle up a meal, which is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, American style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. You will find the washing machine and tumble dryer in the games/utility room which also features table football for fun nights in. When your meal is ready, gather round the dining table and enjoy while gazing at the lovely rural views from the windows. After a full day out, relax on the comfortable sofas, watch your favourites on the smart TV with Sky and light the wood burner for cosy nights in.
