Here, you can leave the car behind and head into the Black Mountains, climb onto the Hatterrall Ridge to join the Offa s Dyke Path where you can walk out to the Hay Bluff and Twmpa, or enjoy the ruins of Llanthony Priory. There is also canoeing, pony trekking, and climbing available within the park. For a more cultured day out, you can visit one of the many market towns including Hay on Wye (12.5 miles), Abergavenny (13 miles), and Crickhowell (21 miles). Set deep in a valley across acres of farmland, here you can step back in time and relax within the grounds of a working livestock farm. This traditional barn situated within the heart of the farmyard offers spacious accommodation with many original features. Step inside and leave your boots within the utility area, you will find a Belfast sink which is great for rinsing muddy boots along with a WC. From here you will step into the lounge/dining area, a charming space with low ceilings, exposed beams, and stone walls. There is a deep windowsill perfect for a lazy afternoon with a good book, comfortable seating, a wood burning stove, and a TV. For dining a generous table that will easily seat 4 guests. There is a well equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge with an ice compartment.
