Private garden with seating and kids play equipment. Parking in the main car park on the estate, you can unload/load the car in front of the property. Pubs, shops, and cafes 9 miles away in Lauder. Magnificent Thirlestane Castle is located just outside the town and hosts wonderful events such as the Tour de Lauder and the Vintage Motoring Extravaganza. The delightful towns of Melrose, Selkirk, Jedburgh and Peebles are within easy touring distance as is the city of Edinburgh, just 35 miles away. Fishermen will be delighted with the nearby River Leader and River Tweed renowned for excellent Salmon and Trout Fishing. Walkers, hikers and mountain bikers can explore the Southern Upland Way and the beautiful Lammermuir Hills. The unspoilt Berwickshire coast is under 30 miles away. As you walk into this spacious, bright, and well presented detached cottage, you will find a pretty king size bedroom off the hallway at the foot of the staircase, the bedroom has views towards the estate house and across the grounds.
