The children will also feel right at home here too, with a playstation and collection of books on offer. Gather together in the dining room for an evening meal, the table seats up to six people, and a fireplace with a slate surround is a central focus of the room. The country-kitchen leads off from this, and a family bathroom is elevated by blue tiles, including both a bath and a separate shower, to finish the ground floor. Upstairs you can choose from three bedrooms, each are presented to a lovely standard with a neutral theme, well-coordinated decor, and complimented by pleasant views across the countryside. The single room even features a pull-out bed should you want to make use of this. Outside you can enjoy the good sized patio, a lovely suntrap with furniture and a barbecue, ideal for a sunny afternoon. Llanberis is suited for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes. Just four miles from Llanrug, on the coast, is Caernarfon with its 13th century castle and town walls. Between the beaches and water sports, there really is something for everyone.

Situated in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, Llanrug is a small village with two pubs and a shop just three miles from the famous town of Llanberis. Popular amongst walkers, this tranquil settlement is set beneath the Snowdon Massif and flanked by the Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris lakes. As one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park, Llanberis is an ideal spot for walkers and climbers to gather.
