Within easy reach of Denbigh are the cathedral at St Asaph, the castle at Bodelwyddan, the seaside resorts of Prestatyn or Llandudno, and the historic city of Chester, over the border into England. The Snowdonia National Park is a short drive, with lakes, mountains, walking and cycling, while the Llyn Peninsula and beaches on the Isle of Anglesey are ideal for a day trip.
