This Area is a haven for walkers and the famous South West Coast Path lies close by with spectacular views across Lyme Bay. The local villages are fortunate to have a good choice of public houses, offering a selection of locally sourced produce and local beers. The Axe Estuary Wetlands, a well-managed wildlife reserve is a very short drive away where a large number of birds congregate to feed on the mud flats and salt marshes and these can be viewed at close quarters from one of many hides strategically located along the reserve.
