Many rocky Tors interrupt the sweeping open moorland, such as nearby Hound Tor, Haytor and Bowerman’s Nose. Close by is Widdecombe-in-the-moor, lovely for a day visit, it hosts an annual fair and is home to Uncle Tom Cobley and All! The famous Becky Falls, that tumble 70 feet beneath a canopy of oaks, is within a mile of the cottage.
Accommodation: Ground floor sitting room, inglenook fireplace with wood burner, TV and DVD. Kitchen, electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge with ice box and washing machine. Hall/dining area. First floor bedroom 1, double bed. Bedroom 2, twin single beds. Shower room.
Outside: Small front garden. Enclosed courtyard to the side of the house for al fresco dining with garden furniture. 3 moutain bikes available (at own risk).

Living roomwith granite walls, original beams, feature inglenook fireplace inset with a wood burner, sofa, two armchairs, TV and DVD player. Smart kitchen with electric hob, built under oven, washing machine, microwave and fridge with ice box. Step up from the living room to a hall/dining area with dining table to seat four and access to the side of the cottage. Stairs up to bedrooms. Pretty double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed. Twin bedroom with two 3ft beds. Shower room with power shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside:
The cottage is protected from the lane by a small garden. At the side is a pretty courtyard garden enclosed by a dry stone wall, perfect for sitting outside with table and chairs provided. 3 full sized mountain bikes available for use at own risk.
