Stroll along to the local Babbling Brook Inn, only half a mile away, serving food and has a well renowned Sunday Carvery. Discover The Coleridge way through Quantock Hills AONB, a fabulous region for walkers to enjoy. In the nearby village of Nether Stowey is the National Trust property, Coleridge Cottage, the home of the romantic poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge who wrote the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The West Somerset Coastal Path and Steart Beach and Nature Reserve are only a short drive away. Further afield are the sandy beaches of Weston-super-Mere and Blue Anchor. Cheddar Gorge and The medieval city of Wells are approximately 45 minutes away. The Norman castle of Dunster on the edge of Exmoor is approximately 40 minutes away.
