Upstairs has two bedrooms set across two floors; two double with en-suite shower rooms, perfect for two couples. With one of the bedrooms housing a lovely dressing table with ample storage space. There is off-road parking for one car. Winchcombe is home to a number of tourist attractions, including Sudeley Castle, a stately home which dates back to the 15th century. It has stunning landscaped gardens which flamboyant peacocks occupy, and features artwork by Turner and Rubens. A lovely place to visit during your stay. Mad Molly's Cottage is the perfect countryside retreat for couples. Mad Molly's brother cottage 'Grumpy Goose' is next door so you could book them both together if dates are available.
This cottage is situated in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, which lies above the River Isbourne, midway between Cheltenham and Broadway. The town hosts music and arts festivals, country shows and farmers’ markets. Guided walks around the town are on offer throughout the summer months. Within an hour’s drive is the World Heritage city of Bath, which is Shakespeare’s birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon, and not to forget Warwick, with its magnificent castle. Historians can enjoy the stories of old in Sudeley Castle and if you love browsing antiques then Winchcombe will not disappoint.
