Nestling at the end of a long private driveway, this property is in a tranquil location surrounded by 20 acres of beautiful countryside. Enjoy the glorious views, birds and wildlife, and explore Exmoor National Park, which is just 500 yards from the cottage. You could also visit the Bronze Age clapper bridge, the Tarr Steps, and the pub overlooking the River Barle. Dulverton is four miles away, with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. A host of country pursuits are within easy reach, including fly and sea fishing, pony trekking, mountain biking and game and clay pigeon shooting. There are beaches within driving distance too at Woolacombe and Putsborough. The cottage was refurbished in 2016 and has a real countryside aesthetic throughout. The cosy lounge has a log burner, which you can curl up beside on cooler evenings. There s also a TV and French doors which open up onto the enclosed garden. In the kitchen/diner is an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice compartment, while the utility room has both a washing machine and tumble dryer should you need them during your stay. There s also a large dining table with plenty of space for a large family dinner, and a separate WC also on the ground floor. Heading upstairs you ll find the master double bedroom and a twin, both with far reaching countryside views. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. Outside is an enclosed garden with lawn, which is accessed over a small brook. There s also garden furniture so you can sit outside and soak up the breath taking surroundings, as well as ample parking. Need to know: 2 bedrooms. 1 double and 1 twin. 1 bathroom and 1 separate WC.
