Charming first floor apartment suitable for a couple and a child, situated above a tea room in the pretty town of New Quay on the West Wales coast, just a short walk from the town s two beaches.
This property is located in the town of New Quay, a pretty seaside town on the West Wales coast. A quieter alternative to some of the bigger resorts such as Aberystwyth, New Quay is a quaint town where colourful Georgian houses line the seafront and visitors have a choice of two splendid beaches, both of which offer plenty of sandy space to relax and play. There is a good choice of shops, cafes, and restaurants in the town, as well as several interesting attractions, including dolphin spotting boat trips, a marine centre, and the Dylan Thomas Trail which allows visitors to follow in the footsteps of Wales best loved poet who once lived in the town. Guests approach this property via a set of stairs which lead from the pavement outside the lovely tea room which occupies the ground floor of the building. They cross the decked veranda before coming to the front door which opens directly into the open plan living area, with the kitchen area to the right. Guests will easily find everything they will need here, including a Range style double oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Moving past the kitchen to the lounge area, there are two comfortable sofas from which to enjoy the TV/DVD. The bedroom lies at the far end of the house, and is an attractive double room with its own TV, which offers stunning sea views. The washing machine is kept in a bedroom cupboard, and there is also a single cabin bed which can be used to accommodate a child, and is a fun place to sleep with porthole windows allowing anyone sleeping there to peer across to the beach. A wonderful way to wake up! There is also a shower room which has a shower over bath and WC. Outside, there is a wide decked veranda immediately outside the front door of the property, enjoying sea views from its elevated position. The owners have thoughtfully provided garden furniture, making it easy to enjoy alfresco drinks on a sunny afternoon, or as the sun goes down. There is roadside parking close to the property, or car parks are available locally. Need to know: 1 double bedroom with additional single cabin bed suitable for a child. Bathroom with shower over bath and WC. TV/DVD, plus additional TV in the bedroom. Wi Fi included. Oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine.
