The slower pace of life in Brockenhurst is relaxing and it is not uncommon to see ponies and donkeys throughout the village and they even have right of way over traffic. You can reach open forest within ten minutes from the property and there are plenty of walking routes and cycle paths within the New Forest that are perfect for soaking up the fresh countryside air and bike hire is available. A local farm shop is only a five minute drive away from the property and great for picking up some tasty treats and essentials, or if you fancy a glass of wine or a refreshing local ale, head to The Foresters Arms or The Snakecatcher pub in Brockenhurst village.
