Having recently been certified Europe s largest Dark Skies Park, the Northumberland National Park is also the perfect choice for keen stargazers. When you re not out and about exploring the unspoiled beauty of the national park, nearby Rothbury and Morpeth offer excellent shops, pubs and restaurants, ideal for stocking up on supplies or dining out. Wherever you are in the county, the stunning Northumberland coastline is never far away, with the closest beach Longhoughton only a 45 minute drive away. This unique property boasts a sociable open plan layout and stunning views of Harbottle Forest and the Cheviot Hills. The kitchen/dining area is modern and bright, with contemporary appliances and a round dining table for enjoying hearty meals at the end of a long day on foot. From here, French doors open onto a private balcony, offering an al fresco feel whatever the weather. When it s time to settle down for the evening, take to the comfortable sofa and armchairs in the lounge area and make the most of the electric fire, TV/DVD available. This property offers two well presented bedrooms, one double and one twin. Both bedrooms have been decorated in a minimalist, tasteful style with bedside tables and lamps for reading. The bedrooms share a modern bathroom with separate shower cubicle. Outside there is a private walled garden area with seating for enjoying al fresco drinks and admiring the starry Northumberland skies. There is also one allocated off road parking space.
