Elmley Castle sits on the North side of Bredon Hill and is well served with a local village pub and a village green where you can enjoy an afternoon watching cricket. There is a farm shop in the nearby village of Cropthorne, or Pershore has a wider range of shops and restaurants. This area has a year round events calendar, follow the blossom trail in spring time and attend the plum festival in autumn. Walkers can access Bredon Hill, the Wychavon Way, Winchcombe Way and Cotswold Way and for motor enthusiasts, Prescott Speed Hill Climb, holds events throughout the year. Visit Stratford upon Avon and take in some Shakespeare or go racing at Cheltenham, home of the Cheltenham Festival and the literature, food and jazz festivals, or visit the RHS Malvern Spring Festival.
