2.5 miles from the beach and surrounded by the North York Moors' forests and dales, you won't have far to go to uncover the vast array of natural gems nearby. 8 miles away, a visit to Mallyan Spout waterfall is a must. The tallest waterfall in the North Yorkshire Moors, it can be enjoyed as part of a 3 mile route starting and finishing in Goathland village. Upon your return, nip into one of the village's pub for a tipple and hot meal. Closer to home, Newholm has its own village pub and just over 2 miles away in Whitby, there are a large number of shops, eateries and bars. Once home of the editor of Vogue, this 17th century country house boasts infinite style.
