The immediate area is steeped in maritime and smuggling history and is renowned for having one of the best climates in England. Head towards the coast and visit the ever popular Mullion and beautiful Poldhu Cove, and a number of quaint fishing villages such as pretty Porthleven. From here you can also access the South West Coast Path which offers stunning walks and wild beauty. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here and well worth a visit include The Minack Theatre, National Seal Sanctuary, Flambards Theme Park, Tate Gallery at St Ives, The Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the castles at Pendennis and Tintagel, and RNAS Culdrose.
