A lovingly maintained cottage for five guests, situated in a peaceful location just 3 miles inland of the West Norfolk coast and 7 miles south of the popular seaside resort of Hunstanton.
Delightful property enjoying a quiet location at the end of a no through road in the village of Ingoldisthorpe in West Norfolk. The area is the perfectly located for those looking for a relaxing, low key holiday with plenty of country and coastal walks to be enjoyed within a short distance of the cottage. Just three miles away the beach at Snettisham is a peaceful shingle bay which is home to a fantastic range of migratory birds and is a great place for those with an interest in wildlife and photography. A few miles further north along the coast brings visitors to the resort town of Hunstanton, a popular town in the summer months thanks to its sandy beach and excellent facilities which include shops, cafes, restaurants, and a Sea Life centre. There are also a number of stately homes and estates in the area which all make great destinations for leisurely day trips, including Sandringham, Holkham Hall, and Houghton Hall. Two steps lead guests up to the front door of this cottage, which is one of two at the end of a quiet no through road surrounded by fields. The first room that guests come to is the attractive kitchen, which has an excellent range of equipment, allowing guests to easily make themselves at home on their arrival. There is an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and a washing machine. A doorway from the kitchen leads through to the dining room which has enough space to seat five diners and patio doors which open onto the property s garden. The lounge can be accessed through either the kitchen or the dining room and is a wonderfully inviting space with two comfortable sofas, a flame effect fire, and a TV/DVD, as well as some thoughtfully chosen decorative pieces. Upstairs, there are two pretty bedrooms, both of which have been finished in elegant restful colours. The first of these is a spacious room which has a double bed as well as an additional single daybed which may be suitable for a young child to share with their parents. The second bedroom is a double which offers plenty of storage space in a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The bathroom, which is also located on the first floor, has a bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Outside, the property benefits from an enclosed garden which is mainly set to lawn and for which there is garden furniture provided. In addition to this, there is a spacious grassed area opposite the cottage which is shared with the neighbouring property and is a fantastic space for children to play or for dogs to run. There is off road parking to the front of the property for two cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 triple with a double bed and single day bed. Suitable for a maximum of 4 adults (plus 1 child on day bed). 1 bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. TV/DVD in lounge. Towels provided. Travel cot, highchair, and stairgate available (please provide own bedding). Private / enclosed outside garden with garden furniture. Off road parking for 2 cars.
