Walkers can enjoy the splendid coastal walks around the Cartmel Peninsula and Humphrey Head that was reportedly located in around 1390 of the last wolf that was slain in England. Within easy reach of the beautiful village of Cartmel with is bespoke shops, quality eateries, Medieval Priory and famous race course with an array of yearly events to enjoy. The popular picturesque Victorian town of Grange Over Sands is also close at hand with its range of leisure and shopping facilities and its wonderful ornamental gardens to explore.
