The cottage is within walking distance of the village pub, shops, post office, National Trust s Inverewe Garden, village hall, indoor swimming pool and weekly craft and produce market. Also, a perfect base to enjoy walking, cycling, fishing, golf and water sports with canoeing and kayaking available. Wildlife boat trips are available from Inverewe and Gairloch. Explore the coastal paths with views to the Outer Hebrides, visit the site of the emergency coastal battery built to defend Loch Ewe during WWII, or stroll on the pristine sandy beaches and explore Pictish and Viking sites. The area is home to beautiful mountains, hills, lochs and waterfalls, and the road to Loch Ewe is listed as one of the top ten most scenic drives in the world.
