There are numerous attractions and heritage sites close by including Dunrobin castle, Dornoch Cathedral, Glenmorangie Distillery and Castle of May, or take a trip to John O Groats where a ferry can be taken to the stunning Orkney Isles. Activities around Ardgay include salmon and trout fishing, mountain biking to walking, hiking and horse riding. There is a picturesque golf course at Bonar Bridge as well the internationally renowned championship course at Dornoch, close at hand.
