This stunning holiday home is ideal for all seasons with an impressive inglenook fireplace and open fire for the cooler months, and an acre of enclosed, lawned, orchard garden for children and pets to run around in during Spring and Summer.
Situated in an ideal location for an outdoor break in Dorset, with plenty of walking opportunities; from the cottage there is direct access to forest walks and mountain bike trails and it is conveniently located for the Wessex Ridgeway walk. There are also very good gourmet pubs in the area.
Ground Floor: Breakfast Kitchen With an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and farmhouse kitchen table. (Additional freezer in shed). Dining room With table and chairs for more formal meals. Sitting room Lovely, double ended room with inglenook fireplace and open fire. A separate sitting area can provide a cosy spot to read or play a board game. Shower room With shower cubicle, wash basin and wc. First Floor: Two double bedrooms. One twin bedroom. Bathroom With bath and hand-held spray attachment, wash basin and wc. Second twin bedroom This is linked to master double bedroom by a second staircase. Outside: Large (one acre) of lawned, orchard garden, ideal for children. Two picnic tables and benches. Logs in adjoining sheds. Ample on-site parking with secure fencing around the property. Additional Information: This property accepts up to two well behaved dogs (small additional cost). A travel cot and highchair are available on request. Sorry, no barbecues due to thatch.
