The peaceful rural village of St Weonards is an ideal base to explore the Wye Valley and Royal Forest of Dean. You are well served with a wealth of trails that can be explored on foot, cycle or horseback from your front door, along with a well stocked village store. A traditional village inn is situated within the neighbouring village of Garaway where you can enjoy a drink with the locals after exploring Garaway Hill, said to be one of the most beautiful places in Herefordshire, where on a clear day you can enjoy views across five counties whilst enjoying the local wildlife. Also, within easy reach the Offa s Dyke, you'll find Wye Valley Way and the Forest of Dean, as well as horse riding and kayaking which are available on the River Monnow and River Wye. The vibrant town of Monmouth offers shops, pubs and restaurants and the surrounding area has many castles including Monmouth, Goodrich & Raglan Castles, as well as numerous beautiful churches including the remains of the stunning Tintern Abbey, just half an hour away. Enjoy the views across the paddocks where horses graze before you step inside the property. The entrance hall offers a place to sit where you remove your boots and hang your coats after a day exploring. For relaxing, you will find a cosy lounge situated off the hall way, where you can enjoy catching up with friends in front of the wood burner or enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. A kitchen/diner is situated to the rear, a contemporary space that s well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine.
