Located in the pretty village of Holne which is right in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, a location to rival any other with days of adventuring and exploring the area, rugged tors and open countryside where the Dartmoor ponies roam in their natural surroundings, traditional pubs and fabulous dark skies. The shepherds hut is ideal for great getaways whether a romantic retreat or none stop exploring and rambling the trails and tors. A perfect spot within Dartmoor National Park, a central position between both North and South coast making it a great base for land and sea lovers. Step inside this beautiful shepherd's hut and into the perfectly designed and comfortable living area. This brilliantly flexible space includes ample room to lounge and diner, and the wood burner and natural wool insulation keeps things warm and cosy whatever the weather. Also included here is the compact yet perfectly appointed kitchen which boasts all the essentials including a two ring electric hob and fridge, and here you can prepare fresh ingredients sourced from one of the many local farmers markets. At the end of the day the dining area cleverly transforms into a bedroom given the brilliant feature of a pull down double bed. Completing the offering and providing further creature comforts in this lovely rustic environment is a perfectly appointed shower room with shower and WC. Venture outside and further highlights await in the form of a private gravelled patio area with garden furniture, fire pit and a gas BBQ. Here is the perfect place to dine alfresco or just relax with a glass of your favourite tipple after a day exploring the moor, and whilst watching the sun set over the farm. Off road parking for one car is also provided directly outside. Need to know: 1 double bed. 1 shower room with shower and WC. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Off road parking for 1 car.
