After a pleasant afternoon walk return back to your humble dwelling and relax in the homely living room/diner, with a plush sitting area with two sofas, a coal-effect stove set in the inglenook fireplace and a TV with a DVD player, you have all you need for a peaceful evening in. Travel upstairs to find the pretty bedrooms, with the master bedroom home to a beautiful antique brass double bed echoing the history of the property, while the second bedroom is a twin with two single beds, both served by the lovely bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Make the most of sunny days and use the excellent front garden, with a table and chairs here you can dine alfresco or relax with an evening drink before heading out to one of Haworth's excellent pubs. The village has a great selection of pubs and bars to choose from, with one named after Emily Brontë's novel Wuthering Heights, a must-visit for any literary fans, along with several tearooms and cafés too. Infront of the cottage and accessed via a footpath, you will find the charming Keighley & Worth Valley Railway station, or take a stroll around Central Park, a beautifully kept area perfect for picnics. For a more energetic adventure, head out on a walk to Brontë Waterfall and Brontë Bridge and discover the wonders of the West Yorkshire countryside, described in Emily's novel as ‘rugged and barren’, it offers a stunning landscape all-year-round.
