The quaint village of Rhandirmwyn is set in unspoilt countryside against a backdrop of rocky hills, with a tree lined river at the bottom of the valley. The village has a shop and a friendly pub serving good food. The Upper Towy Valley has gorgeous scenery for you to explore, with nearby landmarks and attractions including the stunning Llyn Brianne Reservoir (4.5 miles), the Dolaucothi Gold Mines (10.5 miles), the Cynghordy Viaduct (4.5 miles), Crychan Forest (12 miles), RSPB Gwenffrwd Dinas (3.5 miles) and the Sugar Loaf Viewpoint (9 miles). There are opportunities for mountain biking, fishing and birdwatching, or you could head to the market town of Llandovery (7 miles) which marks the start of the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park. With original features including exposed beams, whitewashed walls and woodwork, this delightful detached cottage has a spacious and welcoming lounge which provides an ideal space for you to relax in.
