With fantastic space both inside and out, settle into rural living and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere at this charming abode. Travel 20 miles south to the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park where Pen Y Fan awaits climbing and there is an abundance of well trodden paths to tread. The River Irfon flows past the grounds, wander down the hill and try your hand at fishing (by arrangement with the owners) before returning to enjoy a warming mug of coffee on the terrace. Fire up the wood burner in the lounge whilst you admire the view through the patio doors or switch off in front of the TV. Plenty of sofa space means all guests can get truly comfortable and unwind in peace. The bright kitchen/diner offers handfuls of space for preparing delicious meals, cook up a storm and then plate up at the table which comfortably seats all guests. A downstairs cloakroom with toilet offers the perfect spot for muddy boots and you can hang coats in the hallway when you return from exploring. Climb stairs to the first floor where the family bathroom and two bedrooms sit in the eaves of the house with sloping ceilings. Configured either as a double or two singles, the master bedroom enjoys views across lush greenery and beyond. The twin also boasts lovely views so you can wake up and be reminded of your wonderfully rural location. Make time for a shower or a bath and freshen up ready for the day s adventures. The enclosed garden is perfect for dogs. The BBQ can be fired up for sundowner dinners as you while away the hours before bedtime. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 2 twin (convert beds into doubles by arrangement). 1 bathroom shower over the bath, 1 downstairs toilet. Electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. Food may be ordered in advance so you can arrive to a stocked fridge. Wood burner, logs included. Storage heaters. TV, DVD. Enclosed garden, stone terrace, garden furniture, BBQ. 1 Well behaved dog welcome, please be aware there are sheep and horses grazing in close vicinity.. Fishing for wild Trout or Grayling on the River Irfon by arrangement. Ample parking available. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles away in Builth Wells.
