The market town of Tregaron is home to a good range of shops, pubs, and cafes, as well as a traditional market. Why not visit the 17th century inn Y Talbot, just a minute walk from your doorstep. Nestling in the foothills of the Cambrian mountains this area is perfect for exploring on foot and for nature lovers with Cors Caron Nature Reserve close by which boasts over 170 species of birds. For those who are willing to travel a little further, the Cardigan Bay coast lies within easy reach of the property and is a superb area to spend a few days exploring, with its beaches, coves, and seaside towns. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). As you enter this lovely, terraced cottage, you will enter the entrance hallway a handy place to hang your coats or kick off your walking boots. Leading off the entrance hallway and down one step you will enter the lounge/diner, this is the real heart of the home with a L shape sofa, exposed stone wall, shutter windows, TV and added wood burner, all adding to the cosy ambience and is the perfect retreat for those chilly evenings. You will also find the dining area in this wonderful, social room and the perfect place to enjoy a homecooked meal. Leading off the lounge/diner and down one step you will enter the kitchen area equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The kitchen boasts views over the rear cottage style courtyard and has a character stable door which can be opened in the warmer months. To complete the ground floor, you will find the family shower room with shower and WC. The staircase leads from the entrance hallway to the first floor landing and is home to the sleeping quarters, the first is a twin zip and link bedroom (which can be made up as a king size upon request) and located next door is the master king size bedroom, both of which have been tastefully decorated and a great space to relax after a busy day exploring. Heading outside to the rear of the property, you will find an enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and gas BBQ, a perfect space to enjoy al fresco dining in the warmer months. There is roadside parking within 100 yards of the property (subject to availability) or there is a payable public car park located opposite the cottage.
