Set at the end of a quiet residential street in Alness, this property is great for those looking to explore Ross shire and the Highlands. Hop on the NC500 trail and explore the sandy beaches, whisky distilleries and ancient castles that are dotted along the Easter Ross stretch. There are lots of scenic walks within the vicinity of the property, including Fyrish a stone monument on top of a hill with breathtaking views down across the Cromarty Firth. The Highland capital of Inverness is just a short drive away, with museums aplenty and of course Loch Ness, where you can try to spot the monster that is said to lurk in the waters. Enter into the hallway that leads down to the open plan lounge/diner, which is the heart of the house. The dining table comfortably seats eight guests, with the room opening off to a beautiful orangery which is used as the main lounge with Smart TV and Sky Q. From here, you can admire the countryside views that surround the property, making it a lovely spot to sink into the corner sofa with a book in hand. The fitted kitchen is compact yet fully equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a utility room with an additional fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a second lounge with Smart TV and Sky Q, making it a great space that children and teenagers can call their own. The ground floor has a bathroom with a shower over bath and WC, and two double bedrooms, one with an en suite shower and WC. Head up the stairs to the first floor where the master king size bedroom is located, which has a Smart TV with Sky Q and an en suite shower and WC. Completing the property is the additional double bedroom with an en suite shower and WC. Outside, the large open garden consists of a grassed area and a large patio, which can be accessed from the doors of the orangery. There is garden furniture where you can sit and relax in the sunshine and enjoy the hilly landscape that surrounds you, and a charcoal BBQ for summer evenings where you can cook and dine alfresco. There is a garage available for guests to store their bikes and outdoor gear. The large driveway has more than enough space for parking four cars.
