Tealby is a hidden gem of a village with a pub, tea rooms and village shop all within walking distance from the cottage. There are footpaths and cycleways in abundance including the Viking Way which goes through the whole village, making this a great escape for those wanting to embrace the fresh country air so bring your bikes and boots ready for exploring. Walk or cycle to Willingham Woods two miles away, where you will find trails and bike tracks as well as picnic areas and ice cream cafes. The market town of Market Rasen is just over three miles away on the River Rase and offers an excellent range of independent shops, a supermarket, eateries, riverside walks, championship golf course and year round horse racing at Market Rasen Racecourse, taxi shuttle can be arranged from the village. Visit historic nearby Lincoln, with its 11th century castle, magnificent cathedral and a huge array of independent shops and eateries to explore. Louth Market town (and The Cadwell Racetrack) is just over 13 miles aware, with excellent amenities and antique shops, Hubbards Hills has a market town feel with the river Lud running through, along with the seaside own of Cleethorpes where there are fabulous beach walks and famous fish and chips to be savoured. Outside the garden is surprisingly large with a patio, outdoor dining furniture and lawn surrounded by well stocked cottage garden borders. There is off road parking for one car 1 small dog accepted (up to size of Spaniel by prior arrangements with the owner). Dogs are not allowed upstairs, or on any furniture, dogs are not permitted to be left unattended in the property, and it is preferable that dogs are crated REGRET NO CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS OLD Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 double. 1 bathroom with heated towel rails, roll top bath, shower and WC and 1 separate WC. Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge freezer. Washing machine in WC. Wifi Can be intermittent. 2 wood burners first basket of logs provided. Smart TV in the lounge. Garden with patio, seating and lawned area. Charcoal bbq & firepit. Picnic hamper and rucksack ideal for walkers. 1 small dog accepted (upto the size of a Spaniel by prior arrangement with the owner) Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture, dogs are not permitted to be left unattended in the property, dogs should be crated at night and should be house trained.. Off road parking for 1 car. Beach 18 miles, pub and shop within walking distance, public play park within walking distance. Regret no children under 5. Lockable shed for storage of bikes and boot room, this space is also ideal for washing your dog and there is a medium size dog crate in the shed. Local tea room can deliver afternoon teas for special occastions. The cottage has steep cottage style stairs. A 5% discount is offered for repeat bookings.
