Visit the Bowes Museum, a magnificent building and home to an eclectic collection of art, relics, and antiques, perfect for a rainy day! A trip to Richmond is perfect for riverside walks along the River Swale, stopping to admire the River Swale Waterfalls and finishing in The Station which has been restored to include a three screen cinema, micro brewery and bar, ice cream parlour, artisan bakery and a cafe. This charming single storey stone cottage rests within the family estate. The cottage is approached via a private front garden and beautiful ornamental trees. Sleeping four guests in two bedrooms this beautiful property is ideal for groups of friends or families seeking a spot of blissful isolation without compromising on stylish accommodation. Stepping into the kitchen/diner, you ll discover high ceilings and contemporary brass light fittings. There is everything you need to cook up a storm including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a large round dining table for your evening meals. There is a conservatory off the kitchen with comfy seating, an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee whilst watching the views of the garden and fields beyond. There are walks available within and around the estate and a footpath that takes you through a magical woodland down to a lake. Throw down a blanket and enjoy a picnic. Parking is provided for two cars.
